William Brody Smith

William “Brody” Smith, 24, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.  

Brody was born on August 3, 1996 in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA. He grew up in Ringgold, GA and was a 2014 graduate from Ringgold High School where he was the Senior Class President. Five years ago, he moved to Savannah, which he considered to be his “home base” while traveling as much as possible. He was a talented musician, artist, and true individual.

He was preceded in death by his nana, Carolyn Timmons who adored him.

Brody is survived by his parents, Sophia Haley (Shannon) and Corey Smith (Carolyn); siblings, Lyndsey Smith and Logan and Sophie Haley; grandparents, Lisa Martin of Savannah, Gary Hill (Julie) of Urbana, OH, and Eddie Timmons of Trion, GA; great-grandmother, Bonnie Lee Snyder; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with Reverend William Blitch officiating. Seating at the service will be limited, please join the service via Livestream at www.facebook.com/cfhbchapel2.

Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are required to enter the funeral home.

Brody’s family would like to thank everyone who has been a part of his spectacular life. Gone too soon, he will not soon be forgotten.
