Wanell Crosby Cummings, 69, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 surrounded by her family at Coastal Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Cummings traveled with her husband Linwood during his military career. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Beulah Crosby; brother, Dennis Crosby; three sisters, Myrle Taylor, Marilyn Raider, and Winifred Crosby; ex-husband, Linwood Cummings; and daughter, Patti Hupp of Fayetteville, NC.
She is survived by four sisters, Mary Roark (Philip) of Malvern, AR, Joann Seward (John) Shellman Bluff, GA, Marie Cone (Hardy) Statham, GA, and Connie Thrift (John) of Liberty County; three children, Chris Cummings of Fayetteville, NC, Paul Cummings of Fort Campbell, KY, Faye Perry of Brunswick, GA; two granddaughters; six grandsons; three great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
The family would like to thank the staff at Coastal Manor Nursing Home for the care they gave to Mrs. Cummings.
A memorial service for Mrs. Cummings will be held at a later date.
