Sherry Mock Carpenter, 66, passed away quietly at her home on January 23, 2019. She retired from CVS after 30 years of dedicated service and was a longtime resident of Richmond Hill. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Richmond Hill. Her lifelong pursuit and passion in life was crafting and she could often be seen at craft fairs. Cooking was another passion. Her family, especially her grandchildren, occupied a special place in her heart. She is survived by her husband, Ken Carpenter; sons, Timmy Mock (Amber) and Ben Sherrod; daughter, Kathy Sherrod; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 – 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
