Sharon Ann Dowell Rockwell

Sharon Ann Dowell Rockwell, 69, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

Sharon was an amazing person, but more than anything she was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known to be the “coolest G-Ma” anyone ever met. She was a caring person and would take you in no matter your flaws and she would love you as her own. She would always, ALWAYS, be there for you through thick and thin, and she would never turn her back on you. Sharon was someone you could depend on, she was warm-hearted, kind, genuine, and sympathetic all while being strong and firm; never being afraid to tell you how she felt – she kept things real.

Sharon was adored by many. In a world that can feel heavy, she provided light. She will forever be missed and will forever be loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Hattie Dowell; and her son, Christopher Rockwell.

Sharon is survived by four children, Angela Rockwell, Rebecca Williams, Andy Fields, and Alex Fields; two sisters, Barbara Dowell Hayes and Laurie Dowell Bell; and four brothers, Andrew Dowell, Tony Dowell, Jimmy Dowell, and John Dowell.

Memorial services will be private.
