Ricky Dixon, 62, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 4, 2020, at home.
A lifelong resident of Midway, he was retired from Interstate Paper after 44 years. Ricky enjoyed boating, driving his race car, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Dixon.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Angel Dixon; two children, Amy Dixon Roberts (Jimmy) and Tara Bridges Smith, both of Midway; father, George Walter Dixon, Sr. of Brantley County, grandchildren, Kasity Dixon Lindsey (Talon), Skylar Roberts, Landon Bridges, and Kaylie Bridges; one great-grandchild, Evelyn Ann Lindsey; brother, Ted Allen Dixon of Brantley County; niece, Holly Dixon Legette; and nephew, Jobe Dixon.
A Celebration of Ricky's life will be held Friday, January 10, 2019, at Lake George Community Center, 1799 Limerick Road, Midway, GA 31320, beginning at 5pm.
