Richard Lee Spinden, 54, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Liberty Regional Medical Center.
He was born on March 12, 1966 in Denver, CO and lived there most of his life working in the oil fields of Colorado and North Dakota. For the past 4 years he lived in Hinesville, GA. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, kayaking, traveling, and the ocean. His family meant the world to him and he loved them more than anything. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Always remember, his love, light, generosity, and laughter. Above all else, remember his love for us all.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Leon Spinden, Sr.; brother, Kent Spinden; and his best friend and dog, Jake.
He is survived by his wife, Kerrii Spinden; sons, Richard Spinden, Jr. and Walter Spinden, Sr.; daughter, Alyson Spinden; step-son, Patrick Wellenkotter; mother, Jean Straub; brother, Leon Spinden, Jr.; sister, Susan Perri; and grandchildren, Zoe, Harley, Aly, Walter, Jr., Bentley, and Emmie.
Memorial services for Richard are pending and will be announced on a later date.
