Randy Earl Clark, almost 66, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. He was born in Watertown, New York, on December 22, 1952, to Earl Randall Clark and Joan “Bea” Bartholomew. He was a Veteran of the US Army and National Guard and worked for many years for Gibson-McDonald Furniture. Uncle Sam brought him to Fort Stewart, Georgia, in October of 1977, and Georgia became his home for most of his life.
Randy was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved taking pictures of wildlife wherever he went. He also loved to read and was interested in politics. He rooted for the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Falcons. He was a big man with a big heart, always willing to help others in need. He loved to cook, and shared this love with his kids and grandkids, teaching them all about goulash and venison stew.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Annette Gordon Wall Clark.
He is survived by sons Christopher Alan Wall (Tammie) of Enid, Oklahoma, Travis Randall Clark (Karen) of Renton, Washington, and Shannon Mikel Clark (Kristy) of Ludowici, Georgia; daughter Tamsyn Marie Clark Medina (Manuel) of Wesley Chapel, Florida; grandchildren, Cole Wall, Rayna Wall Byrd (James), Hannah Wall, Ashley Clark Shedd (Brendin), Olivia Clark, Parvani Medina, Leialani Medina, and Manuel “TiBi” Medina; siblings Vicki Tinkous (Alan), Edie Hart (Ron), Jackie Drexler, Kevin Clark, and Lisa Hein (Doug); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10-11 am, Monday, December 24, 2018, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Memorial Service with Military Honors follows at 11 am.
