Phyllis Troha

Phyllis Troha, 85, of Senoia, GA went to be with the Lord our Savior on Friday, February 12, 2021 surrounded by family.

Phyllis was the only child born to Edward and Mildred Foley on December 18, 1935 in San Diego, CA where her father was serving in the United States Marine Corps. By six months of age, she and her family moved home to Ft. Lauderdale, FL where she lived for seventy years before retiring to Senoia, GA.

In Phyllis's formative years, she was blessed to be raised by her mother, “Millie” and stepfather, Arthur Allen whom she adored. She enjoyed a very successful career in the banking industry, but the greatest love of her life was her family. Upon retirement, she became a dedicated volunteer at her church thrift store, a position she loved.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfred Troha.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kathleen McNamara Bush (Craig); and son, Raymond McNamara (Ok Chu); six grandchildren, Jason Bush (Julia), Matthew Bush (Becky), Jennifer Bush Visser (Gregory), Kevin McNamara (Brittany), Allen McNamara (Dimple), and Sherry McLeod (Brandon); thirteen great-grandchildren; and two half-siblings, Thomas Foley and Virginia Foley.

One of the greatest gifts bestowed on Phyllis’s life was her numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews she inherited when she married Alfred Troha who came from a family with eleven children. What sets the Troha family above the rest is their intense love and devotion to one another, it is impressive.

A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in Allenhurst Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
