Michael Lee Futch, 42, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Savannah Hospice House surrounded by his family.
Michael lived most of his life in Richmond Hill. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. His passion in life was cooking and being active in church. He was a momma’s boy and loved his family and his friends. He never met a stranger, everyone he met became his friend. He had a big heart and was always there day or night if you needed him. His sense of humor demanded a laugh and would lift any spirit. He will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by a special aunt, Janice Thompson Booker.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Stokes (Bobby Proman); stepfather, Daniel Stokes; two sisters, Mary Amanda Stokes (Vincent Zapeline) and Jennifer Marie Harris; niece, Breanna Myrick; nephews, David Myrick, Timothy Myrick, Zachary Hardin, and Joshua Gill; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with Reverend Brian Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery.
