Mary Elizabeth Cobb

Mary Elizabeth Cobb, 72, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Mary was born on December 4, 1949 in Hinesville, GA and has previously resided in Savannah, Atlanta, Orlando, Los Angeles and Franklin, TN. She graduated from Bradwell Institute and went on to receive her Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from Adrian Hall School of Interior Design. She was previously the founder and owner of Complete Design, an interior decorating company. She enjoyed interior decorating, antiques, art, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, David W. Cobb, Sr.; one son and daughter-in-law, David W. Cobb, Jr. and Ledja Cobb of Nashville, TN and Savannah, GA; one granddaughter, Ema Jo Cobb; and two sisters, Carol Wilson and Rita Floyd both of Hinesville.   

Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in Flemington Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
