Martha Lou Conner Adams passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 7, 2023, at Southern Manor, Statesboro, Georgia at the age of 87 under the care of Regency SouthernCare Hospice. Predeceased in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Joe Mack Adams; and her son, Steven Loxie Adams. Martha Lou was born on February 25, 1936, in Statesboro, Georgia to the late Horace and Annie Conner. She was predeceased also by her granddaughter, Terri Adams Reynolds; brother, Thomas Conner; and sister, Mildred Conner Gatch.
Martha Lou is survived by her two daughters, Joann Adams Wilson (Donald) of Ludowici, Georgia and Jan Adams DiNitto (Paul) of Brooklet, Georgia; grandsons, Thomas Adam Wilson (Ashley) of Ludowici, Georgia, Connor DiNitto and Nicholas DiNitto of Brooklet, Georgia; and two great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of Southern Manor for their extraordinary love and care while Martha Lou resided since December, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Carter Funeral Home.
