Lola M. Jelinski, 93, Hinesville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 17, 2023.
Lola was born on March 9, 1930 to the late Clarence McGregor and Rose Helen Morrison. She was a native of Glenwood, GA, and lived in Hinesville since 1966. She was a parishioner at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Hinesville where she was truly a disciple of Christ. Her discipleship was made manifest by her outward love, caring, and Christian teaching for children and adults alike.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred W. Jelinski.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Alfred William and Julie Jelinski of Guyton, GA; three grandchildren, Brittany Jelinski (Aaron Cash), Megan Brown (Chandler), and Aaron Jelinski; and two great-grandchildren, Ayden and Asher Brown.
Memorials, if any, are requested for any children's Christian charity.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a Rosary Service at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 399 Woodland Drive, Hinesville, GA 31313. The Funeral Mass will begin at noon in the church sanctuary with Father Adam Kasela officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Abbey West, 1336 Dean Forest Road, Savannah, GA 31405.
