Larry D. Crosby, 65, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at home after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Savannah and of Baptist faith. He was a heavy equipment operator, loved music and started out as a drummer for the Ronnie B. Band and later a country band with Rufus Clark. He loved fishing in Salt Creek and enjoyed searching for treasures with his metal detector. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eleanor and Leonard W. Crosby, Sr.; and one grandson, Landen. He is survived by two daughters, Dana Crosby and Nicole Newman; two grandchildren, Canyon and Waylen; two brothers, Leonard Crosby, Jr., and Jerry Crosby (Wanda); and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 3 pm on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
