Kerry Allen White Sr. departed this life peacefully on October 7, 2024, in Washington D.C., leaving behind a legacy of service and family that will continue to inspire those who knew him. Born on August 1, 1944, in Newark New Jersey, 

After high school, Kerry joined the United States Navy, serving his country and achieving the rank of  Petty Officer 1st Class. His military career was marked by notable achievements, including the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Helicopter Anti Submarine and his expertise as an Aircraft Mechanic. Kerry's commitment to excellence and duty exemplified the best qualities of a Navy service member.

Kerry was not only known for his military service but also for his warm personality and passionate spirit. An avid fan of the Washington Redskins, he engaged in spirited conversations about the team's performance, sharing his love for football with family and friends.

He leaves behind his loving children, Sharen White-Crawford, Karen White-Dawson, Deiris White, Kerry A. White Jr., and seven grandchildren. Kerry's siblings, Henry White Jr., Mabel Swaby, Shirley Lee, Mary Elizabeth, Richard, Raymond, Barry, and Harriet, along with a host of beloved nieces and nephews. He shared a deep bond with his life partner, Connie, who stood by his side through many of life's journeys.

Kerry was preceded in death by his father, Henry W. White Sr., his mother, Lucille M. Jackson White, and his brother, John David. Kerry's surviving family members continue to honor their memories, remembering him as a pillar of strength and love.

Throughout his life, Kerry Allen White Sr. was a man of honor, deeply devoted to his family and his country. He will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
