Kenneth "Kenny" Tootle

Kenneth “Kenny” Tootle, 69, passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center after a long illness.

Kenny spent most of his life in Richmond Hill and retired from Gulfstream after thirty-eight years. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of Ducks Unlimited; and enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, and spending time at the beach.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raleigh Adron Tootle.

He is survived by his wife, Lora Sue Bacot Tootle of Richmond Hill; daughter, Hope Tootle of Claxton, step-daughter, April Boysen (Jonathan) of Richmond Hill; grandson, Bryan Austin Davis of Richmond Hill; granddaughter, Harley Shannon Rush of Claxton; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Grace Rush; mother, Lillian Joseph Tootle of Glennville; two sisters, Sandra Durrence (Danny) of Glennville and Debra Ware (Bobby) of Richmond Hill; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved black lab, Walker Reed Tootle.  

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Kenny’s family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Love’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Glennville.
