Kathryn Findley Wilson, 83, passed away on November 13, 2021 after a long illness.
Kat was born on September 3, 1938 in Richmond Hill, GA. She loved to work outside with her flowers. She adored her dogs and cats. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, she will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, P.B. and Ollie Carter Findley; brothers, W.B. Findley, Elbert Findley, Ellington Findley; and sisters, Wilda Myrick, Betty Myrick Seymour, Shirley Wilson, and Miriam White.
Kat is survived by her son, Herbie Dale Benton of Pembroke; and sister, Estelle Clark of Pooler.
The family wishes to express thanks to the staff of Coastal Manor Nursing Home in Ludowici for their care and kindness to Kathryn over the past several years.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Daniel Baptist Cemetery in Richmond Hill.
