Kaam Pu, 53, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
Do Thawn Mang, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Kalay Myo, Burma to Thawg Za Khai and Nian Za Cing on January 31, 1967. Kaam was the oldest of four children and grew up in Tedim, Burma. He immigrated to the United States in 2014. For a short time, he lived in Kentucky eventually settling in Richmond Hill, GA in 2015. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. But most of all he enjoyed being with his family and friends. Always the jokester, he loved to make people laugh and have fun. He was extremely kind and gracious. No one was a stranger to Kaam, just a friend he had not spoken to yet. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother.
He is survived by his wife, Cing Vum; sister; brother; and many extended family members and friends.
Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at St. Anne Martha & Mary Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are required to attend.
