Henry Ervin Lambert, 70, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
He was born on July 13, 1950 in Switchback, WV and lived in Hinesville for the past 30 years. He retired from the United States Army as a First Sergeant. He found joy in driving. He was a devoted husband and brother and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Lambert of Switchback, WV; mother, Elizabeth Britton of Truman, AK; and two sisters, Brenda Woods of Switchback, WV and Diana Martin of Rocky Gap, VA.
Henry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sun P. Lambert; one sister, Nora Ingram of Martinsville, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
A walk-through visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Henry's funeral service with Military Honors will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will be in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA.
