Ginnie Jane Shuman, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at home.
Ginnie was born on May 1, 1938 in Guyton, GA. She enjoyed working at her flea market business and crocheting. She also enjoyed being outside and liked to go fishing and crabbing. Ginnie was a Christian woman and a loving, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was truly loved and will be forever missed.
She is survived by her three children, Susie Dowd, Cecil Smith, and Jennifer Richards; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and five brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in Clito Baptist Church Cemetery, 10062 Clito Road, Statesboro, GA 30461.
