Eustacia Ortiz-Lopez

Eustacia Ortiz-Lopez, 99, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Eustacia was born and raised in Humacao, Puerto Rico. In the 1950’s she moved to Brooklyn, NY for better opportunities, she then returned to Puerto Rico in 1972 to raise her family. In 2009, she moved to Richmond Hill for health reasons. She was an active member of the Richmond Hill Senior Center and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Savannah.

Eustacia is survived by two sons, Reinaldo Osorio (Sophia) of Richmond Hill and Wilfredo Osorio of Cibolo, TX; five grandchildren, Joy Osorio, Staci Osorio, Athena Class, Joshua Osorio, and Allesandra Osorio; mother-in-law, Charlotte Grimes; sister, Cecilia Rios Ortiz; six nieces, Aida Luz, Ruthie, Priscilla, Naomi, Becky, Lucy, Adelita; six nephews, Edwin, Papito, Ismael, Wiso, Mario, Perico; and four cousins, Noelia, Ester, Lydia, Enieda.

A Rosary Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with a visitation following until 8:00 p.m. To view the Rosary Service via Livestream please visit www.facebook.com/cfhbchapel2. A Memorial Mass will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 399 Woodland Dr, Hinesville, GA with Father Adam Kasela officiating.
