Emojean Kicklighter Thomas, 86, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Savannah Hospice House surrounded by family. She was born in Tattnall County and lived most of her life in Savannah and lived in Midway the past 3 years. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Thomas; sister, Lethann Stubbs; and brother, Dewayne Kicklighter. She is survived by her children, Patsy Smith of Midway and Robert “Bobby” Haines of Savannah; one sister, Sandra Handy (Bill); one grandson, Desman Crone; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with Brother Jeff Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia. Pallbearers will be Dewayne Kicklighter, Jr., Dee Kicklighter, Tony Handy, Blake Handy, Jack Woods and Bubba Jackson.
