Donna Marie Wesley-Pearson

Donna Marie Wesley, 64, of Hinesville, Georgia, passed away on March 23, 2021, in Savannah, Georgia.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel in Hinesville, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel in Hinesville, Georgia, with Pastor Bill Agnew officiating. Burial will follow at Oglethorpe Cemetery in Hinesville, Georgia. The service will be viewable via Livestream at www.facebook.com/cfhbchapel2.

Donna Wesley was born in San Antonio, Texas, to George Edward and Willie Mae Wesley on June 30, 1956. She went to school in different cities and towns due to being a Military “Brat”—AKA the child of an Army Veteran. She married Rickey L. Pearson on October 8, 1992, in South Carolina.

Donna attended the University of Maryland and Oral Roberts University. She worked as a medical transcriptionist and in the Government’s records department as a GS employee for Winn Army Community Hospital at Ft. Stewart, Georgia. She served as Women’s AGLOW president, Choir Director for the Liberty County Community Choir, and served as the Praise and Worship Leader for Victory Faith Fellowship. She also played for the Military Post Chapel and the Seventh Day Adventist Church Service.

Donna M. Pearson is preceded in death by her father, George Edward Wesley; her brother, George Michael Wesley; and, her husband, Rickey L. Pearson.

Donna M. Pearson is survived by her daughter, Catherine Pinckney Rickey Pearson III, Michael Pearson, Nicholas Nicho Pearson, son in law, Brian Pinckney, and granddaughter, Bailey Pinckney, her sister Lisa Angela Smith, her brother Mark Edward Wesley, and her precious mother, Wille Mae Wesley.
