Diane Deal Smith, 59, passed away due to Covid-19, on Thursday, September 9, 2021, while surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 13, 1962 in Savannah, GA to Simon and Catherine Deal, both deceased. She worked at Pride Pool for twenty-one and a half years, excelling at her job. Diane was an avid bird watcher and gardener, who loved the sun, moon, stars, and music. Above all, she loved Jimmy and Cale, and her four-legged baby Kate. She never met a stranger, never forgot a name, and was loved by all.
She is survived by Jimmy, her husband of 36 years, son Cale, sister Lynn Deal, all of Savannah; brother Timmy (Melissa) of Ludowici; special sisters Carolyn, Mary Kay, and Melissa, along with several uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A walk-through visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel.
