Charles Cullen Barnes, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
Cullen is survived by his loving mother, Linda Shave Barnes; his brother, Bill Barnes (Paige) of Nashville, Tennessee; nephew, Raleigh Barnes (Melanie) of Nashville, Tennessee; niece, Annadele Benson (Will) of LaFayette, Georgia; and a host of close family and friends. Cullen was preceded in death by his father, Charles Henry Barnes.
Cullen was creative, sensitive, sweet, and a friend to all. He loved caring for his customers at the New & Not Shop and those he served as a cosmetologist. He enjoyed spending time on the coast and the beaches of Saint Catherine’s Island.
Though we mourn his loss, we find peace in the knowledge that he is now free from the burdens of this world. May he rest in peace, embraced in the eternal love and grace of his Heavenly Father.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024 in Flemington Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 875 Old Sunbury Road, Hinesville, GA 31313. The family will receive all guests in the church social hall following the service.
