Claudia Sanchez

Claudia Sanchez, 43, of Ludowici, GA died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Claudia was a 1996 graduate of Bradwell Institute. After graduation, she took on many different titles including insurance writer, phlebotomist, loan manager, and most importantly mom and wife.  Just recently she decided to follow her dream and took on the daunting challenge of becoming an LPN. She graduated in 2021 with her degree, unfortunately, she never got a chance to show up and show out at being an undoubtedly amazing nurse.

Claudia was a homebody and loved to be with her family.  She loved to cook and go on vacation, especially to Universal Studios. She told the best stories and entertained everyone with her loud, crazy self. She always spoke her mind and never hesitated to tell you how she felt, but she was always there for those that needed her no matter what. Claudia died way too soon and way too young but if nothing else is brought away from this loss of life, let us all remember, Claudia was a rock star and lived her life the way she wanted. Keep her memory shining on forever and let her name bring joy to your heart when talking about her. 

She is survived by her husband and best friend, Frank Sanchez; two daughters, Damiana and Garbrielle; two sons, Kai and Aidan; beloved parents, Petra and Ronald (Dedra) Ruff; brother, Christian (Tina) and sister, Bianca (Kevin); brother-in-law, Raul (Lisa); nieces and nephews, Nikolaus, Jason, Anthony, Savanna, Chelsea, Christian Jr., Cassandra, Alexis, Daielle, Alyssa, Christopher and Anthony; and was Omi to Alice; she also leaves behind lots of great friends who were chosen family including Ira and Tammy, who have been constants in her families lives. She will be greatly missed by all of us, and our lives will not be the same without her.

Claudia’s family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel, 308 West Oglethorpe Highway, Hinesville, GA 31313. Masks will be required to attend.
