Carolyn Marie Wilson

Carolyn Marie Floyd Wilson left this life to be with Jesus on Friday the 13th, 2024. Carolyn was born on March 13th, 1944 to Talmadge and Lucille Floyd of Liberty County Georgia.

She graduated from Bradwell Institute in 1962. She was a member of Crossroads Holy Church of God where she served as the pianist for 64 years, bookkeeper for over 30 years and was also on the church Financial board.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years Tommy Wilson; son David Kersey of Bluffton South Carolina; daughter Darlene Pike (Greg) of Hinesville; son Michael Dalrymple of Hinesville; Grandchildren Elizabeth and Allison Pike of Hinesville Chris Pike of Pooler Christopher Kersey of Guyton; Thomas Kersey (Brittany) of Bluffton South Carolina; Jennifer Plavcan (Nathan) of Bluffton South Carolina; Sister, Rita Floyd of Hinesville; great-grandchildren, Sophia Kersey, Madeline and Mia Kersey, Penny and Julian Kersey and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Talmadge and Lucille Floyd; sisters Iris Spradley and Mary Cobb and one infant sister; brother-in-law Charles Spradley. 

She dearly loved her family and that included her beloved Church Family. Her family was her greatest joy.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday December 20, 2024 at Crossroads Holy Church of God starting at 2 p.m. With Reverend Jeptha Newberry officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2 hours prior to the service starting at 12.

Burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.
