Brenda Mae Rhodes, 74, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 13, 2021 while under the care of Hospice.
Brenda was born on October 14, 1947 in Wilmington, NC to the late Wilbert and Lena Rhodes. She spent all of her life there. She was a long-time member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping in her spare time. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Schwartz (David); brother, Wayne Rhodes (Sandra); three grandchildren, Kevin Schwartz, Courtney Bass (Devin), and Kaitlyn Schwartz; two great-grandsons, Kaden and Leo Bass; niece, Nathalie Rhodes; nephews, Michael Rhodes (Dana), Michael Henry (Kurt), and Jason Henry (Kelly); and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Wilmington, NC in January.
