Barbara Ann (Lunsford) Davis

Mrs. Barbara Ann (Lunsford) Davis, of Richmond Hill, Georgia, born on February 21, 1940 in Suches, Georgia, to the late Ruth Lorraine Lunsford and the late Leeford Lunsford, passed away at age 78 on October 24, 2018. Barbara graduated from O'Keefe High School in 1957. She was a Postal Rural Carrier at United States Post Office until retiring in 1998. Barbara had a passion for gardening, cooking, canning, jewelry making, crafts, sunbathing and especially loved fishing. She attended Corinth Baptist Church, and she was a member of UGA Master Gardner program at Coastal Gardens and a member of the Orchid Society. She loved all her family beyond measure. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Lunsford. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Boyce Wilson Davis; sons, Michael Todd Ware (Donna) and Warren Edward Watkins, II (Samantha); daughters, Diana Ware Harn (Bill), Belita Ware Courtney, Kendra Ware, and Terah Ware Statum (Junior); stepsons, Cary Davis (Michelle) and Bryan Davis (Roxanne); brothers, Bruce Lunsford (Cindy), Gary Lunsford (Joan), Mark Lunsford (Tammy), and William Reyer; sisters, Linda Lunsford Hawkins, Brenda Grove, and Wanda Tidwell; grandchildren, Ashley Meredith, Garland Meredith, A. Phillip Meredith, Thomas Courtney (Chanler), Michael Courtney, Stephan Strumpf, Kendall Strumpf (Emily), Brandy Ware Rewis (Daniel), Alan Ware (Becky), Lindsey Ware, Michelle Statum Brinson, Austin Statum, Michaela Statum Bullard (Brandon), Cole Cauley, Anthony Reforma, Raygan Watkins, Leia Watkins, Anakin Watkins, Kyle Watkins, Zachery Watkins, Kyle Davis, Trevor Davis, Tyler Davis, Austin Davis, Ashlyn Davis, and Dawson Rewis; and great-grandchildren, Tristan Strumpf, Rylan Brinson, Eliana Bullard, Raiden Brinson, Marlana Bullard, Presslieann Ware, and Amara Grace Courtney. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with Robbie Norman and Sam Davis officiating.
