Audrey Ranae Huffman

Audrey Renae Huffman, known to her loved ones as Renae, passed away on March 16, 2025, at Liberty Regional Hospital in Hinesville, GA. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

Born on October 11, 1955, in Pensacola, FL, Renae was a proud graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She later made her home in Hinesville, GA, where she built a fulfilling career at Walmart before retiring.

Renae had a deep passion for gardening and was an active member of Brugmansia Growers International. She found great joy in cultivating plants and spending time outdoors. Her love for animals was evident in the way she cared for her pets and any creature that crossed her path.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 15 years, Mark Alan Garrison; her mother, Joyce Huffman of Pensacola, FL; her daughter, Heather Hodge, of Shawnee, Oklahoma; her grandsons, Steven Michael Hodge (33) and Christopher Aaron Hodge (31), both of Waycross, GA; and her beloved great- grandchildren: Harper Reagan Hodge (14), Daxon Hayes Hodge (5), Ava Thumbalina Hodge (9), Kennzley Ann Hodge (5), and Alaura Rhayne Hodge (2), all of Waycross, GA. She is also survived by her sister, Rhonda Sellars (Falcon Sellars), and her brothers, Shawn Huffman (Wife) and Jason Huffman (Wife), all of Pensacola, FL. She was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Lewis Huffman, and her brother, Henry Albert “Al” Huffman.

Renae’s gentle spirit, love for family, and appreciation for nature will be forever remembered by those who knew her.

Family will recive friends starting at 11 a.m. on Tuesdy March 25th, 2025 at Carter Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the chapel of Carter Funeral Home.

Burial will immediately follow the service in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
