Alexandria Leigh Freeman loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt and friend passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023.
Alexandria Leigh Freeman was born in Valdosta, GA on December 16, 1998 at 12:16 PM.
Alexandria lived in Liberty/Long County since 1999. Alexandria was a loving and compassionate person. She loved going on vacation, especially Disney World. Alexandria loved going out to eat, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. She liked taking pictures with her family and friends. She loved her family and friends with everything she had, especially her favorite person, her Papa. Alexandria will be dearly missed and she will always be in our hearts and memories.
She was preceded by her grandmother, Sonia Lawson.
She is survived by her mother, Amanda Lawson; husband, Donnell Campbell; grandfather, Gary Lawson; father, Demetrius Freeman; sisters, Alyssa Lawson and Michaela Hernandez; brother, TJ Freeman; her maternal family, aunt, Angelene Malek; uncles, Duane Malek and Gary “Lee” Lawson; cousins, Joshua Malek, Garrett Malek, Sara Lawson, Korrina Lawson, Elias Montoya, and Izaiah Montoya; her paternal family, stepmother, Mickie Freeman; grandparents, Gwen and Herbert Shuler and Norris Crawford; great-grandmother, Claudine Freeman; aunts, Ashley Shuler, Andrea Shuler, Tara Crawford, and Elyse Crawford; uncles, Todd Shuler, Jakobe Cooper, Dewight Crawford, and Reginald Johnson; cousins, Lakylyn Burns, Tyler Wiley, Aubrey Shuler, Gracie Shuler, Brooklyn Shuler, Wyatt Crawford; and nephews, Mason and Micah Hernandez.
Alex had very dear friends that were like family… Morgan Schmitt, Lissette “Boogie” Flores, Sammy Nicholas, Ranita Dupree, Lillie Dupree, Pierre “PJ” Parham, Omar Espinosa, Liviyah Espinosa, Parris Parham, Amanee Dupree, Prince Parham, Deliza Jones, Javonna Magee, and Miranda Wells along with so many others that she held near and dear to her heart.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Carter Funeral Home, 308 West Oglethorpe Highway, Hinesville, GA 31313. Alex’s family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. A Celebration of Life will follow the service from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at VFW, 931 Elma G Miles Parkway, Hinesville, GA 31313.
