Gregory Andrew Helbing

Gregory A. Helbing 45, died Friday in Brantley County after a short illness. He was a native of Pittsburg PA. Mr. Helbing lived in Ludowici for the past 25 years. He worked for Yates Astro for 15 years. He attended Hinesville First Baptist Church. Mr. Helbing is survived by his wife Paula Helbing of Ludowici, daughter Stacy Hickman of Ludowici, his father and step mother Leroy and Juanita Helbing of Midway, His mother Elizabeth Helbing of Coperas cove TX, two brothers Gerald Helbing and Michael Helbing of Coperas Cove TX, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 10:0 am Tuesday January 17, 2012. A Memorial service will follow at 11:00 am in the Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Rev. Steve Davis will officiate.
