Gum Branch William Bill Stanton, 73, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He lived most of his life in Hinesville, Ga. He was retired from the US Army after 22 years and was a school bus driver for Liberty County Board of Education. Survived by his wife of 30 years Jackie Wells Stanton of Gum Branch; children Richard Stanton, Stella Cain, and Mark Stanton all of Oklahoma, Arthur Stanton of Hinesville, Robin Missy Zorn of Gum Branch, Holly Tedder of Douglasville, Ga. and Mark Smith of Gum Branch; Brother Rick Stanton of FL; sisters Judy Penny and Joanne Drakes both of Michigan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family will be receiving friends at the home of Robin Missy Zorn at 564 Wells Cemetery Road Hinesville, Ga. Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home with Full Military Honors. To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of William J.
