Catherine M. Taylor

Midway Catherine M. (Kathleen) Taylor, 80, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Savannah Cottage under the care of Odyssey Hospice and with her sister, Maggie by her side. She has lived in Midway for the past 35 years and was a member of Fleming Baptist Church. Kathleen loved to cook and fish. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, George W. Taylor, two sisters, and four brothers. She is survived by her sister Maggie Plunk of Midway; a brother, Bob Burton of Coal City, WV; a special niece, Lori Taylor of Rincon and several other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, June 16th from 6-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. A funeral service will be Sunday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Midway United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
