Bonelle P Rocker

Hinesville Bonelle P. Rocker, 85, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center after a short illness. She was a native of Emanuel County and lived in Hinesville for 56 years. Mrs. Rocker was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hinesville. She attended the Sonshine Sunday School Class for many years before joining the Wisdom Seekers Class. She retired from the Hinesville Coca Cola Bottling Company after 32 years. She was predeceased by her parents Myrtle Mixon and Eddie Parham and her brothers Billy and Tom Parham Survivors are her husband of 64 years Barney Rocker of Hinesville; 2 children Lamar and (Jennifer ) Rocker of Appling, Ga. and Dwayne and (Karla) Rocker of Metter, Ga.; 3 grandchildren Melissa Burden, Karen Rocker, and Christina Mays; 3 great grandchildren Hailey Burden, Blake Burden, and Colton Mays. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 07, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral will be Wednesday, August 08, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Hinesville with Rev. Gene Hiers and Rev. Roy Broughman officiating. Committal Service will follow at 4:15 at Lake Cemetery in Metter. Pallbearers are Jimmy Rocker, Rocker Hartley, Kirk Rocker, King Rocker, Ed Rocker, and Jim Rocker.
