Roy Dennis Christiansen

Midway, GA Roy Dennis Christiansen was chosen by God to rest on Sunday, November 11, 2012. He was born in Menominee, MI on May 19, 1941. He served his country in the US Navy. He retired from Gulfstream after 35 years and was a past president of Gulfstream Retirement Club. Dennis was an active member of Midway United Methodist Church, Bryan Masonic Lodge 303 and served on the Board of Dorchester Village Civic Center. He was survived by his wife of 47 years, Georgiann; children, Kyle Dennis Christiansen of Richmond Hill, Kelli and Jeff Hilliard of Savannah and Amy Ahles of Medford, WI; five grandchildren, Anna, Jeffrey, Turner, Madison and Caleb; two sisters, Ardis Sherman of Fon du Lac, WI, Mary Dumke (George) of Porterfield, WI; brother, Ned Christiansen (Donna) of Richmond Hill; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Midway United Methodist Church.
