Richmond Hill Frances M. Turner, 90, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was a life long resident of Richmond Hill, a member of Richmond Hill First Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. She loved to fish, garden and was a devout Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband J. F. Turner, Sr. She is survived by two sons J.F. Turner, Jr. of Midway and Larry Turner of Richmond Hill; two stepdaughters, Fredra Lastinger and Wanda Rodman; one stepson, Jerry Turner; a brother J. C. Herrin of Jesup; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:00 " 11:00 a.m. Friday November 16, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Richmond Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Wasson officiating. Pallbearers are Randy Butler, Robert Parker, Jerry Bragg, Bobby Carpenter and Theron Darieng. Honorary Pallbearers are James Turner, John Turner, Michelle Turner, and Brandy Cochran.
