Joseph Ashmore

Joseph S. Ashmore, 67, died at his residence Sunday, February 3, 2013 under the care of Hospice Savannah. He was a native and lifelong resident of Liberty County, a member of the First Baptist Church of Hinesville, and retired from Interstate Paper Company after 38 years. Joseph is predeceased by his wife Patty G. Ashmore. Survived by son Brian Ashmore of Hinesville; daughters Christa Ashmore of Savanna; and Amy Jones of Carterville, GA; also two step-children Lynn Down of Hinesville and Allen Dasher of Savannah. Viewing will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.
