Debra Kay Dykes

Hinesville Debra Kay Dykes, 54, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at her residence after a long illness. Native of Savannah and had lived in Hinesville her entire life. She served as a member of Liberty County Board of Education and was involved in many community civic projects. Debra is survived by a daughter, Ellie Dean (Shane) of Savannah; a son, Jason Shuman of Hinesville; a sister, Carlynn Brunton of England; and grandchildren, Cameron and Carson Dean. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at Hinesville First United Methodist Church with Rev.
