David Michael Kautz

Riceboro David M. Kautz, 60, died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at his residence after a short illness. Born in Albert Lea MN, he has lived in Riceboro, GA for 10 years. He retired from the US Army as a SGT Major after 26 years of Service. He was a member of VFW Chapter 6602, American Legion post 168, and DAV 46#. He is survived by his wife, Cerita M. Kautz of Riceboro, GA; daughters, Jessica Gojanovich, Kristina Sirek of Farmington, Minn, and Jennifer Kautz of Panama; and son, Geoffray Kautz Panama. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home. Deacon Chad Chaffee will officiate the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Georgia Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Glennville with full military honors.
