George Wesley Thomas II

Midway George Wesley Thomas II, 38 died Saturday, April 27, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Chatham County. Born in Homerville, Wesley has lived in Midway for the past 37 years. He attended Westside Baptist Church in Hinesville and was employed by Sommers Oil Company in Savannah. Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Thomas of Midway and Kendell Thomas of Bryan County; parents, Wesley and Judy Thomas of Brunswick; a sister, Renee Dixon of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Westside Baptist Church. Burial will be private.
