Aimar Victor Martin

Richmond Hill Aimar Victor (Buddy) Martin, 74, died Friday May 10, 2013 surrounded by his family, after a battle with cancer. He was a lifelong resident of Richmond Hill and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church. He attended Young Harris College, was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and a commercial fisherman. In his later years he was an officer of the Historical Bryan Neck Presbyterian Cemetery Association, where he was the overseer of the cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aimar Altimott and Rose Emily Martin and his sister Mary Donati. He is survived by his wife Beverly Martin; children Melinda Bilby (Daniel), Kimberly Carpenter (Ken), Jody Martin (Pam), Adam Martin (Nancy) and Lacy Martin; two Sisters Rose Marie Donnelly (Dick) and Betsy Wilson (Bob). He is also survived by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:00am-12:00pm Monday, May 13, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel, with funeral services following at 12:00pm in the chapel. Burial will be in Bryan Neck Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Bryan Neck Cemetery Association, 459 Starr Creek Road Richmond Hill, GA 31324. Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel in charge of arrangements.
