Charles Marley, Jr.

Hinesville Charles Marley, Jr., 86, of Hinesville died peacefully at home on August 16th. Charles was born in Caruthersville, MO on August 21, 1926 to Charles and Annie Marley. After high school, he moved to Kansas City, MO where he worked as an electroplater until he retired from Western Electric in 1988. He has been a resident of Hinesville for 23 years and was an avid bowler for more than 50 years. He was a member of Midway First Baptist Church in Midway and also attended Holy Church of God in Hinesville. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Rickey Place, Sr. of Midway; two sons, Randy W. Marley of Overland Park, KS and Dennis L. Marley, Sr. of Midway; 4 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren. A family graveside memorial service is planned for later this year. His family suggests memorial donations in his name to the Liberty County Humane Society PO Box 1481 Hinesville, GA 31310 or his churches.
