Richard Leland Hamlin

Hinesville Richard Leland Hamlin, 57, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at Memorial University Medical Center after a short illness. Richard was a native of Fort Stewart, GA, and a lifelong resident of Hinesville. He was a graduate of Brewton Parker College and a member of First United Methodist Church of Hinesville. He was employed by Gateway Group Home in Hinesville. Survivors include a brother, Robert Hamlin of Hinesville and an uncle, Donald Hamlin of Hallandale Beach, FL. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 7pm at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Deacon Adna (Chad) Chaffee officiating. Burial will be at Hinesville Cemetery at a later date. Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
