Barbara Ann Dixon

Brunswick, GA Mrs. Barbara Ann Dixon, 65, died Thursday, September 12, 2013, following a long illness. Born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, she lived in Brunswick, Ga, until her passing. Mrs. Dixon was the daughter of the late John and Doris McKenna. She is also predeceased by a grandson, Jayden Manning, and a nephew, John Michael McKinnon. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Dixon; daughter, Lynn Manning (James); sons, Edward L. Dixon, II, (Milli), and Alan Dixon (Tammy); grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner Manning, Alan and Kody Dixon, Andrew and Kaitlyn Hobbs, and Elizabeth and Amie Dixon; great grandson, Cooper Dixon; of Darien, GA. Mrs. Dixon is also survived by a sister, Mary McKenna of Hinesville. Visitation will be from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel, 308 West Oglethorpe Blvd., Hinesville, GA, followed by a graveside service at Hinesville Cemetery.
