Robert Bates

Savannah Robert "Bob" Bates, 62, died Friday, September 20, 2013 at his residence after a brief illness. He has been a resident of Savannah his entire life. Bob was with the FBI prior to serving in the US Navy for four years aboard the USS Milwaukee during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked at Keller Flea Market each weekend. Survivors include his mother and father, Jean and Marvin Sutton; a brother, David Bates (Kimberly) of West Palm Beach, FL; a sister, Kandin Corry of North, SC; special friends, Jeri and Daniel Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
