Michael "Tyler" Burdette, 27, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Tyler lived in Savannah most of his life. A graduate of Baldwin County High School, he attended Savannah Christian Church and was the general manager of Zaxby's Restaurant in Port Wentworth. He loved his Georgia Bulldogs, NASCAR, darts, country music, and fishing. His most favorite thing was playing with his son Jaxen. Tyler loved people of all ages, color or background. He never met a stranger. Survivors include his wife; Brittni Burdette of Garden City; a son, Jaxen Burdette; his mother, Ann Eaker (Ray) of Richmond Hill; his father, Michael Burdette (Lisa) of Richmond Hill; brother, Logan Eaker of Richmond Hill; step brother, Kolby Eaker of PA; maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Elizabeth Kenyon of Milledgeville; paternal grandmother, Shelby Howard of Ludowici; paternal grandfather, Shorty (Martha) Burdette of Savannah; great grandmother, Maggie Lois Kenyon of Milledgeville; mother-in-law, Donna Brown of Garden City; uncles, Ken Kenyon and Bryan Burdette; aunt, Kathy Kenyon; and several other family members. Visitation will be 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 7, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial to follow at Bonaventure Cemetery.
