Leonard William Birdall

Richmond Hill Leonard "Lyn" W. Birdsall, 84, died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah. He was a native of Dearborn, MI, retired from the US Army after 20 years, and then worked for Tacoma Washington City Light. Lyn was a member of the Bryan County Senior Citizens Center. His passion was metal detecting. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Kathleen Birdsall; brother, Bob Birdsall; and sister, Betty Rice. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Beverly Birdsall of Richmond Hill; sister and brother-in-law, Merna and Gerald Sweeland of Lake Orion, MI; Brother and sister-in-law, Victor and Pat Birdsall of Red Ford, MI; grandchildren, Andrew Birdsall (Angie) and Aaron Birdsall (Tamara); and five great grandchildren.
