Harvey D. Findley

Sunbury Harvey Demmond Findley, 84, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 after a brief illness. He has been a resident of Sunbury for the past 22 years coming from Atlanta and Savannah. Harvey retired from the The Georgia Office of the Legislative Counsel after 28 years. He graduated from the University of Georgia. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Findley of Sunbury; two sons, Greg Findley (Tawna) of Pelham, GA and Tim Findley (Lyle) of Gray, GA; and one brother, Harry Findley of Cobbtown, GA. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
