Mildred Clark

Bloomingdale Mildred Clark, 79, passed away Friday, January 03, 2014 peacefully at her home after a very long illness. She worked many years as an expert seamstress. She was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Clark; parents, Mr. & Mrs. James B. Young, Sr.; brother, James B. Young, Jr.; a grandson, Jason Downer and son in law, Pete Dakis. Survivors include a son, Tommy Davis, Jr. (Kim); five daughters, Patricia Dakis, JoAnn Livingston (David), Shirley Downer (Travis), Debbie Glidewell (James), and Michelle Beckham (Perry); step daughter, Sherrie Holidy; fourteen grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a step granddaughter. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West next to her husband Jimmy Clark.
