Gum Branch Roland Yarbrough, 65, died Friday at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville. He lived most of his life in Gum Branch and was a member of Elim Baptist Church. He loved Georgia Bulldog Football and NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Clevy J. and Olagean Yarbrough. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nita Yarbrough; children, Brian Yarbrough of Macon and Brad Yarbrough (Carmen) of Newnan; three grandchildren, Peyton, Parker and Carter Yarbrough; brother, Robert Yarbrough (Debbie) of Gum Branch; sister, Rhonda Rinert of Gum Branch; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his loyal pets, Buddy and Bear. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Elim Baptist Church with Reverend Jack Yarbrough and Reverend Mike Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Wells Family Cemetery.
